We are very excited to be doing discipleship for college students through Eastside!
264 Old South High St. was donated to be used for outreach at JMU, and it opened up in June 2015. Beginning with the next two years, we will be living in this house and using it as a place for outreach. We will host Bible studies, small groups, large group events, and one-on-one discipleship in our home. Although our main focus is college students, we will also use the house also as a weekday building for Eastside events. Our goal is to build relationships with students and help them grow their faith as they desire.
We’re incredibly excited to get to know the many college students who attend Eastside, as well as those who are our neighbors on Old South High St. While we live at 264 OSH, Tyler will continue working as an accountant at Interchange Group, Inc., and Kendra will pursue her art education license through JMU. We are so thankful for this opportunity to open our home as a house of worship and to grow our gifts as we work where we feel God calling us.
