Painting at the Free Clinic

Thank you Eastside Painters!

The Harrisonburg Rockingham Free Clinic is undergoing some important changes this month. We’re transitioning from paper to electronic health records and we’re expanding our clinic hours to better serve our patients – uninsured, low-income neighbors with chronic health conditions.

Thanks to long-time Free Clinic volunteer and Eastside Church member Norm Gerber, the clinic is greeting these changes with a fresh face.

Norm has organized the Eastside volunteer project to paint the Free Clinic hallways and bathrooms over the past several weeks. Special thanks to Ric Peters, owner of Shenandoah Paint and Decorating Center, who donated paint and Kay and Bill Medford who donated painting supplies.

And, even if we haven’t seen all you wonderful volunteers in person, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your gift of time and talents.
